HOW TO BUY AN ORIGINAL PAINTING

I believe any healthy and long-lasting relationship is based on trust. I care about my clients and I care about my work. When you buy a painting from me I want you to feel excitement and peace of mind, at the same time. This is why I want you to think about it and check a couple of things before you commit, particularly if you live outside de E.U.
IMPORT TAXES
Do I need to pay import taxes?
If you live outside the E.U.
Based on your delivery address, various taxation rules and additional charges may apply, which means that you could need to pay import taxes upon receipt of the artwork. I have no control over these charges and I cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for paying any additional import duties and taxes, so please contact your local customs office for further information before placing an order.
If you live in the E.U. (E.U. countries plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein)
If you are an E.U. resident, there will be no additional import taxes.
 
SHIPPING COSTS
Who handles the shipping of the artwork?
I handle the wrapping and drop-off of artworks to a suitable carrier company. I will send you an email with the carrier name, the shipping number and the delivery date.
How much does it cost?
The cost of shipping depends on the dimensions of the artwork, its weight and the country of delivery. The cost of shipping is added to the artwork price upon confirmation of the purchase (I will tell you exactly how much it would cost before you commit).  
How long does it take?
Shipping time depends on how many days I need to drop off the artwork to the carrier company plus transportation time (2-10 working days on average depending on the delivery address). You will be informed by email as soon as I drop off the artwork to the carrier (I will let you know the carrier name, the shipping number, and the delivery date).
 
PAYMENT
How can I pay?
Original paintings can only be paid for by wire transfer.
When you are sure you want to buy an original painting, I will send you the IBAN number by email so you can proceed with the wire transfer. The artwork will be shipped upon receipt of the transfer.
 
RETURNS
Can I return an artwork if I am not satisfied?
If you live in the E.U. (E.U. countries plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein)
E.U. residents have 14 days upon receipt of their order to return the artwork if they are not satisfied. This means that you will get a refund for the price of the artwork but you will have to ship it back at your own expense.
If you live outside the E.U.
The return policy does not apply to non E.U. residents.
 
INVOICES & AUTHENTICATION
Can I get an invoice?
Upon delivery of the artwork, you will receive an invoice indicating the price of the artwork.
Do I get a certificate of authenticity?
All artworks are provided with a certificate of authenticity (COA) delivered upon receipt of the artwork. This certificate, signed by me (the artist) guarantees the authenticity of the work.

  • Send me an email telling me which piece you are interested in with your contact details (name, telephone number, email and delivery address)
  • I will get back to you with the total price (artwork plus shipping) and the IBAN
  • Write back telling me what you have decided
